By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Non-returnable items
Our decants are offered in glass bottles with a screw on atomizer. Thus, they are not tamper resistant. Due to this, we do not accept returns under any circumstances. Please double check your cart before placing your order. The idea of purchasing a sample is to determine if you like the scent before committing to buying a full bottle, so we can not accept returns if you don't like the fragrance. All of our fragrances are guaranteed by us to be 100% authentic and genuine. Accusations of fake, inauthentic or otherwise "altered" fragrances will be dismissed with no exceptions. Any and all requests to return your decant(s) will be denied with no exceptions. We do not under any circumstances offer refunds, returns or exchanges, or any sort of compensation due to the buyer thinking that what they received is inauthentic. By submitting your order, you agree to our authenticity promise. Skin chemistry plays a big role in fragrance longevity and projection, some may last for 4 hours on skin and others may claim to get 8 hours or more. A lack of performance does not indicate an inauthentic, inaccurate, or expired fragrance. From time to time, fragrances can undergo reformulations — your favorite fragrance from 10 years ago may not smell and perform the same as you remembered it. Any and all requests for refunds due to performance variations will be denied with no exceptions. All sales are final.
We do our best to ship all orders same-day or next business day (Monday-Saturday.) It's important to note that once we hand off your package to USPS, it is completely out of our control. Delivery times listed on our websites are estimates only, and not guaranteed. We cannot control the speed at which your package moves through the USPS network and can only provide an estimate for your convenience. Any and all requests for refunds, replacements, reimbursements or any other forms of compensation due to late packages will be denied with no exceptions.
Returnable items
While we don't accept returns on samples or decants, we do accept returns on full retail bottle purchases should they meet the following criteria:
Retail bottles are to be unopened and still in the original cellophane packaging.
If the outer cellophane has been opened, we cannot accept the return. All returns are subject to our approval and will be denied if they do not follow our guidelines.
Full retail bottle returns have a 30 day return window. This means that a return can be initiated within 30 days of receiving your item. The customer will be responsible for all return label and shipping costs.
Refunds can take up to 5 business days to be processed.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Photographic proof of the damage will be required. Please retain all packaging materials including bubble wrap, packing slip and bubble mailer as we may request photos of these items during the claim process. We warranty our samples - if an atomizer stops working, or bottles break in transit and experience leaking, we will correct the issue via replacement or refund at the customers choice. We reserve the right to deny claims should we suspect that they're untruthful. All claims for items arriving broken must be initiated within one (1) day of receiving your package. After one (1) day, we will not resolve broken item claims.* We do not, under any circumstances, warranty lost or stolen packages. We offer shipping insurance at checkout for customers to insure their package. If you opt out of shipping insurance, you hereby agree that Chaos Fragrances LLC will not be held liable for lost or stolen packages.
