Which Prada Luna Rossa Is Best? 7 Editions Ranked
Luna Rossa Black is my top pick. The tonka and amber make it smooth, warm and inviting, especially for fall and winter evenings. Ocean Le Parfum comes second for its ambery, woody character; despite the name, it doesn't smell oceanic to me. Carbon EDT takes third as a smoother, more refined take on the Sauvage EDT style. Ocean EDP follows with a lighter amber direction, while Ocean EDT takes a fresher aromatic approach. Eau Sport comes sixth for its bright citron and salty ambergris. The original EDT is still a minty aromatic classic, but I would start with the versions above it.

Ocean Le Parfum takes second. Saffron, Amber Xtreme and oak create an ambery, woody scent. The name is misleading to me because I don't find it oceanic at all. It's the one I would compare with Black if you want that woodier amber direction rather than the smooth tonka character of my top pick.

Ocean Le Parfum takes second for its ambery, woody character, while Carbon EDT follows as a smoother, more polished take on the Sauvage EDT style. Ocean EDP gives me a lighter amber direction, and Ocean EDT brings fresh aromatics with less of the depth I prefer. Eau Sport is the freshest for me, but its weaker performance and value put it sixth. The original EDT remains a minty aromatic classic worth comparing, though I would start with the versions above it.
