Which JPG Le Male Is Best? 5 Editions Ranked
Ultra Male is my pick for the best Le Male. Its very sweet pear and cinnamon blend stands out to me and smells like fall. Elixir is my second choice for its honey, tobacco and vanilla, while Le Male Le Parfum is the milder, more mature option I would compare with the sweeter versions.

Ultra Male EDT
Ultra Male takes my top spot because the pear and cinnamon blend gives it a scent that stands out from the rest of the line. It's very sweet, so it won't be for everyone, but that's part of what I like about it. To me, it smells like fall.

Scent profile
The pear and cinnamon are what stand out to me. They create a very sweet scent with a distinct fall feel.
Performance
The dedicated Le Male longevity guide covers wear time separately. My top spot here comes down to the pear-and-cinnamon scent and how much I enjoy that very sweet, fall feel.
Versatility
Fall is when this scent makes the most sense to me. Its very sweet profile is the main thing to consider before choosing it.
Value
This is where I would start in the line if the sweet pear and cinnamon combination appeals to you. Compare Le Male Le Parfum if you would prefer a milder take.

Le Male Elixir Parfum
Le Male Elixir comes in second because the honey, tobacco and vanilla work so well together. To me, it feels like a designer take on Naxos. It's a great option for fall and winter, and I think it works just as well for formal occasions as it does for casual wear.
Editorial wear estimate. Skin, weather and application affect performance.

Scent, wear & buying advice
Scent profile
Honey, tobacco and vanilla are the combination I enjoy here. Think of it as a designer take on Naxos, rather than the pear-and-cinnamon direction of Ultra Male.
Performance
Our separate Le Male longevity guide covers the wear-time estimates. Elixir earns second place here for its honey, tobacco and vanilla blend and its usefulness for fall and winter.
Versatility
This works for both formal and casual wear in fall and winter. That flexibility is one of the things I like about Elixir.
Value
Ultra Male is still my first choice, but Elixir is the one I would compare with it if honey, tobacco and vanilla sound more appealing than sweet pear and cinnamon.

Le Male Elixir Absolu
Elixir Absolu comes in third because it follows a similar direction to Elixir while bringing fruity plum into the mix. To me, it has more of an ambery profile. I still prefer Elixir's honey, tobacco and vanilla combination, but Absolu is worth trying if the plum appeals to you.
Editorial wear estimate. Skin, weather and application affect performance.
Choose it if
Try Absolu if Elixir's general direction appeals to you but you would prefer fruity plum and a more ambery scent profile.
Consider another if
Compare Elixir first if its honey, tobacco and vanilla combination sounds more appealing than Absolu's fruity plum direction.

Scent profile
A fruity plum note and a more ambery profile are what separate this from Elixir for me, even though the two follow a similar direction.
Performance
Our Le Male longevity guide supplies the performance estimates. My third-place choice here comes from Absolu's fruity plum and more ambery take on Elixir's direction.
Value
I would choose Elixir ahead of Absolu overall, but Absolu makes sense if you prefer the idea of plum and a more ambery profile. Try them side by side before deciding.

Le Male Le Parfum
Le Male Le Parfum takes fourth place as a milder, more mature take on the Le Male DNA. Iris is the focus for me, while the cardamom adds a great touch of spice. It doesn't beat my top three overall, but the iris and cardamom are good reasons to give it a try.
Editorial wear estimate. Skin, weather and application affect performance.
Choose it if
Choose this if you want a milder, more mature take on Le Male and enjoy the idea of iris with cardamom spice.
Consider another if
Start with Ultra Male if you want the very sweet pear-and-cinnamon scent I rank first, or Elixir if honey, tobacco and vanilla appeal more.

Scent profile
A milder, more mature take on the Le Male DNA, with iris as the focus and cardamom adding a great touch of spice.
Performance
The dedicated longevity guide covers wear time. The milder character I am describing here is about the scent, with iris and cardamom as the main reasons I would consider Le Parfum.
Value
I prefer the three editions above it overall, but Le Parfum is worth comparing if a milder, more mature scent appeals to you more than the sweeter or fruitier directions.

Le Male
Le Male EDT comes in last because I find it hard to recommend in 2026. There are so many flankers that I think improve on the original, and the performance leaves something to be desired. It also feels overly familiar to me at this point. If I were buying one Le Male today, I'd choose one of the versions above it.
Editorial wear estimate. Skin, weather and application affect performance.
Choose it if
Try the EDT if you want to experience the original Le Male and compare it with the directions the flankers take.
Consider another if
If you are choosing just one Le Male in 2026 and share my preferences, I would start with Ultra Male or one of the other flankers above it.

Scent, wear & buying advice
Scent profile
EDT is the original Le Male that the flankers build on. My reason for putting it last is my preference for the later versions and the improvements I find in them.
Performance
Performance is one of the reasons I struggle to recommend the EDT. See our Le Male longevity comparison for the wear-time estimates alongside the other four editions.
Value
I think your money is better spent on one of the flankers. The EDT's performance and how familiar it feels make it hard for me to recommend over the other versions in 2026.
The final word
Which one should you buy?
Ultra Male would be my first choice for its pear and cinnamon blend. It's very sweet, but that fall feel is what puts it at the top for me. Elixir is next for its honey, tobacco and vanilla and how well it works for formal and casual wear in fall and winter. Try Elixir Absolu if you want fruity plum and a more ambery profile, or Le Male Le Parfum if a milder, more mature iris-and-cardamom scent appeals to you. The EDT is the original, but in 2026 I'd put my money toward one of the flankers.
