Lattafa Tharwah Gold is a clone of Yves Saint Laurent Libre Intense. Lavender, orange blossom and vanilla make the pairing easy to understand. If it's the warm floral sweetness of Libre Intense that you enjoy, Tharwah Gold belongs on your shortlist.
The lavender, flowers and vanilla connection
Tharwah Gold's listed pyramid opens with lavender and bergamot, then moves into orange blossom and Egyptian jasmine. Vanilla, amber and vetiver make up the base. It's a fairly short list, but it covers the main aromatic, floral and sweet elements behind the comparison.
Libre Intense has a longer profile. Its opening adds mandarin to the lavender and bergamot. The heart lists lavender again alongside orange blossom, jasmine sambac and orchid, followed by Madagascar vanilla, tonka bean, ambergris and vetiver in the base. The two panels share plenty of familiar notes without being identical.
What we'd look for in a side-by-side
Start with how the lavender and orange blossom sit together. Those are a big part of why this smells like the Libre family to people, but the amount of sweetness around them matters just as much. We'd then compare how much of that floral character remains as the vanilla becomes more noticeable.
Orchid and tonka bean appear in Libre Intense's catalog profile and aren't listed for Tharwah Gold. That gives you a useful difference to explore when sampling. A shorter note list doesn't tell you that something is missing on skin, though; it simply tells you how each fragrance has been described.
If you already wear Libre Intense, use a fresh spray as your reference. It's easier to judge the flowers, sweetness and dry woods together than to compare a new fragrance with a memory of a bottle you last wore weeks ago.
It's the Intense comparison
The reference here is YSL Libre Intense EDP. Original Libre EDP, Le Parfum and the other Libre releases are separate choices.
