What is Lattafa Najdia a clone of?

Lattafa Najdia is a clone of Rabanne Invictus EDT. If you're trying to place its fresh, sweet aquatic style, the original Invictus is the comparison to start with. The note lists take different routes, though, so there's more to look at than the aquatic label alone.

How do the notes compare?

Najdia lists lemon, cinnamon, apple, lemongrass and bergamot up top. Invictus lists sea notes, grapefruit and mandarin orange. Both profiles bring citrus into the opening, but Najdia also names fruit and spice where Invictus puts the marine accord front and center.

The watery notes appear in Najdia's middle, alongside lavender, cardamom and rosemary. Invictus lists bay leaf and jasmine in the middle. That gives you a useful way to compare them: follow the aquatic freshness, then see how the aromatic and spicy notes fit around it.

The base lists are different too. Najdia has musk, amber, sandalwood, cedar and tobacco. Invictus has ambergris, guaiac wood, oakmoss and patchouli. Woods sit underneath both profiles, but the names on the pyramids don't suggest an exact ingredient-for-ingredient match. We'd compare that later stage as well as the first spray.

Which Najdia and which Invictus?

This guide covers regular Lattafa Najdia. Oud Najdia, Najdia in Gold and Najdia Tribute are separate releases, so check the full name when looking through retailer listings.

The original here is Invictus Eau de Toilette, first released under the Paco Rabanne name and now sold under Rabanne. Invictus Aqua, Platinum and the Victory fragrances have their own profiles. This comparison shouldn't be carried over to every trophy-shaped bottle in the range.

Is Najdia worth a look?

We'd put it on the sample list if you like aquatic fragrances with fruit, citrus and spice, or want to explore an alternative to the original Invictus. If you already know the Rabanne well, try them together and pay attention to the opening and drydown.

The note pyramids below make the comparison easier to follow. Use the retailer cards to compare bottle sizes and offers before ordering; the product pages are there if you'd like more detail on either fragrance.
