What Is Intelligent H2O a Dupe Of?

Intelligent H2O is a clone of the original 2016 Rabanne Invictus Aqua. We rate the similarity at 96%. It's a very close match, and the edition matters: we're talking about Aqua 2016.

Why the 2016 version matters

Invictus Aqua has appeared in different editions, and a shared name doesn't make them the same comparison. The reference here is the original release, with yuzu, grapefruit and pink pepper up top, sea water and violet leaf in the heart, and ambergris, amberwood and guaiac wood in the base.

H2O lines up with much of that structure. It lists yuzu, grapefruit and pink pepper in its opening, aquatic notes and violet leaf in the middle, and ambergris, amberwood and guaiac wood underneath. The citrus, watery heart and woody amber base are the main reasons this is such a direct pairing.

What H2O adds

H2O's published pyramid also includes apple, verbena and cardamom at the top, tonka bean in the middle, and patchouli and musk in the base. Those extra notes show where its recipe takes a different route, even with a very close overall comparison.
