The Envy of FOMO is our first overall sample for revisiting Gucci Envy for Men. It brings back the green, spicy, floral-woody character with a more prominent clove edge. DUA Covet is the other dedicated interpretation to try, especially when ginger, aromatic spice and denser woods appeal. Floris Santal offers a lighter, independently composed alternative.
The reference is the men’s Gucci Envy Eau de Toilette introduced in 1998. Its fresh ginger and aromatic spice move through floral woods into a warmer, smoky finish. This guide does not cover the women’s Envy, Envy Me or Envy Me 2.
Neither interpretation reproduces every detail. The balance of ginger, clove, floral sharpness and smoky woods makes more difference than a familiar opening alone. Compare samples through the quieter finish, particularly if you still have an original bottle to use as a reference.
Purchase options: check the exact 100 ml boxed FOMO bottle at FragFlex, explore Covet at DUA, or compare Floris Santal EDT at Jomashop and FragranceNet. Covet was sold out when checked; use its shopping link to check for a restock. Confirm the concentration, bottle size and current availability before ordering.
